COMMUNITY SERVICE

At ProScape we believe in taking action to make a difference in our community. We take our talents and blessing into account and ask ourselves, 'How can we help?"

ProScape regularly initiates service activities for various local organizations and charities. We believe these activities represent our commitment to and investment in this community, demonstrate and enhance our professionalism, display our belief in the proper stewardship of the financial resources our community entrusts to us, and most of all allow us to express gratitude to the community that has made us successful.

Current initiatives include:

A referral program where ProScape gives a donation to one of three local charities on behalf of our customer when that customer refers a new customer to us. Charities for 2011 include the Marion Shelter Program, Turning Point, and Hospice of Morrow County. Please call 740-389-6204 for more details.

Trees for Schools: We believe every academic campus should have an arboretum as a center of horticultural and environmental education. Thus we are providing and planting trees at no cost to schools to augment their existing canopies and provide for the future generation’s learning. Tree planting is to occur as part of Arbor Day and Earth Day observances and selection of recipient schools will occur via our Facebook page in early spring.

Landscape/Horticulture Scholarship: This scholarship is designed recognize future leaders in our industry and to “home grow” these leaders from within our communities. A monetary amount is given to a graduating high school senior who plans on entering one of the many fields of study that our industry encompasses at the post secondary level. Read More

Adopt-an-Island Program: We have adopted the median island at Edgefield Drive and S.R. 95 for Marion Township and are in the process of beautifying it with plantings and lawn service and will continually provide horticultural services for it.

Other Organizations: We provide select support to several other organizations including the local Lion’s Club and the Make-A-Wish foundation. Generally this support is in the form of gift certificates that can be purchased at the organization’s fund raisers.
